Life without computers

prompt: Life After Blogs

I’ll live. My grandmother lives without computers too and she seems to be doing alright.

My grandmother lives in a world without words. Words to her are symbols, similarly positioned strokes, pictures she’s seen on envelopes, signboards, the red crepe paper you hang on Chinese New Year, and has learned to recognize.

Unlike her, I can’t imagine not being able to read, or write. Without computers, I’d guzzle voraciously on books, gulp down newspapers, and scrawl until my pen gives out.

I really love writing for an audience though.

Maybe I’d write love letters.
